This blog features some of the art and activities of Christine Klinger. I'll probably phase it out at some point but I'll leave it up for now as it has many pieces for sale. You can also look for our newest blog: springs-studio (and facebook). Our web site: klingerart.com will be kept up to date as well. Any unsold pieces on here are at Springs Studio in Yellow Springs, OH, or out in galleries. To stay tuned to what we're up to - please visit springs-studio.blogspot.com and sign up. Thanks!
Pardon the pun but I just couldn't resist. This is the seventh, and last (so far) painting in my Under Sea Circus series. Like the others, it is a 12" x 16" acrylic on canvas, with black painted edges, wired and ready to hang. And it is titled, "Wading in the Wings." This piece, and several other acrylic paintings of mine, are currently available to see and purchase at Neil's Heritage House in Dayton, OH. Enjoy!
This is another in my "Under Sea Circus Series." It's titled "Clown Fish," for obvious reasons, perhaps. It's an apropos post today because - although my earthlink web site - klingerart.com - is FINALLY up and running, the joke is on me because I still cannot edit it yet. I guess they'll tell me when I'm "allowed" to edit the site I built. Sigh.
Anyway, this little guy can cheer anybody up. Like his companions, he's a 16" x 12" acrylic on canvas, wired and ready to hang. Enjoy!
I'll be posting the rest of this series here (2 posted previously) because my web site is still messed up (over a month now). Sorry. Anyway, here is my 12" x 16" version of a "Circus Train," hence the title. It's got black-painted edges and is wired and ready to hang. Enjoy!
Here's a little 8" x 10" acrylic on canvas (wired and ready to hang) I'm calling "Tree in Bloom" because it looks like flowers to me. The leaves have been so beautiful this year, but gone so fast. I am starting to miss them already! Here's a little fantasy tree for you. Enjoy.
Here's the second from my Wild Bird Series. It is also an 8" x 10" heavily textured, acrylic/mixed media on canvas. It has black painted edges and is wired and ready to hang or to slip into a standard 8" x 10" frame. I'm calling this one "Carnival Girl." Enjoy.
